These Sec 2 students were given each an image of famous icons: Chairman Mao Zedong, Mona Lisa, Marilyn Monroe, Elvis Presley, Clint Eastwood and Brad Pitt. They had to make reference to American portrait painter, Chuck Close. This activity helps students to develop painting skills and understand values, balance, rhythm, patterns and harmony.
